Media Player for Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick
A Fire TV Stick needs a player app to open an playlist, and a playlist from your own provider. IPlayerTV is the player: install it, pair it with a 6-digit code, add your M3U URL or Xtream Codes login, and your channels appear.
Every device gets its own 7-day free trial, and no card is required to start it. Access is per device, so pairing a second TV starts its own trial rather than sharing the first one.

Setting it up
Get the app onto the Fire TV
Use whichever of the two routes at the top of this page is open — the Amazon Appstore when the listing is live, or the .apk we host, fetched on the device itself with the Downloader app. It appears in Your Apps & Channels either way.
Fire OS is built on Android, so the Fire TV build is the same application as the Android TV one, tuned for the Fire remote.
Open the app and note the pairing code
The first time IPlayerTV opens on your Fire TV it shows a 6-digit pairing code and a QR code, with a countdown. The code stays valid for about 15 minutes, and the app keeps checking on its own — once you finish the next step it continues by itself.
Enter the code on iplayertv.com/tv/pair
On your phone or computer, go to iplayertv.com/tv/pair and sign in (or create an account). Type in the code. You can also scan the QR code with a phone camera, which opens the same page with the code already filled in.
The Fire TV picks up the pairing within a few seconds — there is no need to restart the app.
Add your playlist
IPlayerTV is a player, not a content provider — it ships with no channels. On the dashboard, add the playlist you already have from your provider: either an M3U URL, or an Xtream Codes login (server address, username, password).
The playlist is imported once and cached against your account, so the app opens quickly afterwards rather than re-downloading a large file every time.
Start watching
Back on the Fire TV, your channels, films and series appear in the app. Progress, favourites and the last channel you watched are stored on your account, so they follow you to any other device you pair.
Remote buttons on Fire TV
The Fire remote has fewer buttons than a TV remote, so the app leans on the D-pad and the Back button rather than colour keys. Back always steps to where you came from, and holding it returns to the app's home screen.
Installing the .apk by hand
Fire OS is Android underneath, so it installs a plain .apk once you allow it. The easy route uses a small downloader app on the Fire TV itself and needs no computer at all; the second route is for anyone who already has ADB set up.
1.Reveal Developer options
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight the device name and press Select seven times. Fire OS then shows a Developer options entry in the My Fire TV menu.
Older Fire TV devices already show Developer options and skip this step entirely.
2.Allow installs from unknown sources
Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → "Install unknown apps", and enable it for the app you will download with (Downloader, or a file manager). On older builds this is a single "Apps from Unknown Sources" toggle.
3.Download the .apk on the Fire TV
Install the free "Downloader" app from the Amazon Appstore, open it, and type the download address shown on this page. It fetches the file and offers to install it straight away.
4.Or push it from a computer with ADB
If you already have the Android platform tools, enable ADB debugging in the same Developer options menu and install over the network. The Fire TV's IP is in Settings → My Fire TV → About → Network.

5.Pair it with your account
Open IPlayerTV from Your Apps & Channels. It shows a 6-digit code; enter it at iplayertv.com/tv/pair and carry on with the setup steps below.

Frequently asked questions
IPlayerTV does not provide, host, resell or index any channels, and it comes with no content of any kind. You supply a playlist you are entitled to use. If you do not already have one, this app is not where you get it.
It is the same application built for Fire OS, which is a fork of Android, so the library, playlist and pairing all behave identically. A few Android-only extras that Fire devices do not support are left out of this build.
