Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about the app, activation, payments, and playlists.

Does the app include channels? Where do I get a playlist?

No. The app does not include channels and does not provide content sources. You must use your own playlist from a provider of your choice.

Most TVs expose one MAC address for Wi-Fi and another for Ethernet. After switching connection type and restarting the app, the active MAC may change.

Yes. If you accidentally paid for the wrong MAC address, contact support within 7 days and we will review the request.

The most common cause is connectivity. Check your internet connection and router first. In many cases the issue is the connection, not the app itself.

The app does not ship with built-in EPG data. If your provider includes a compatible EPG source, it can work with the app.

Contact support with your MAC address, your name, and the last 4 digits of the card used. Duplicate payments are reviewed quickly.

If some items play and others do not, the issue is usually with the playlist or with the provider source rather than with the player itself.

First copy the link again from your provider — one wrong character in the username or password gives this answer. If the details are right and the same link opens on your phone or computer, the provider is most likely blocking connections from outside your country or from data centres, which is where our servers run. Ask them to allow IPlayerTV's servers, or for a link that is not restricted.

Our servers could not open a connection to the address in the link. Either the provider's server is down right now, the address or port is mistyped, or the provider only accepts connections from home internet. Check the address and port with your provider and try again in a few minutes. If it keeps failing while the link works on your own devices, ask your provider to allow our servers.

The provider answered but sent a playlist with nothing in it. This usually means the subscription with the provider has expired or was never activated, or the link asks for the wrong output format. Ask your provider whether the account is active, and use the M3U link exactly as they give it.
