M3U Player: How to Open an M3U Playlist on Any Device
An M3U file is a plain text list of stream addresses. It contains no video — it tells a player where each channel lives and what to call it. To watch it you need a player that can read the list and open those streams; IPlayerTV is one.

Setting it up
Find your M3U URL
Your provider gives you a link that usually ends in .m3u or .m3u8, often with a username and password embedded in the query string. Copy the whole link, including everything after the question mark.
Add it to your account
Sign in at iplayertv.com, open the dashboard, and paste the URL into the playlist field. The playlist is imported once and cached on your account.
Open it on any paired device
Every device paired to the account picks up the same playlist automatically. There is nothing to copy onto the TV itself.
What is actually inside an M3U file
Each entry is two lines: an EXTINF line carrying the channel name and optional attributes such as a logo URL, an EPG id and a group, followed by the stream URL itself. That is the whole format. Its simplicity is why it is universal, and also why two providers can produce files that behave very differently.
The attributes are where quality varies. A playlist whose tvg-id values match your EPG source gets a working guide; one without them gets channel names and nothing else, no matter which player you use.
When the playlist loads but nothing plays
A playlist that imports successfully has proven only that the list was readable — not that the streams inside it work. If channels appear but do not play, the list is fine and the streams behind it are not: expired credentials, a provider limit on simultaneous connections, or a stream that is simply offline.
The quickest way to tell the two apart is that a broken list produces no channels at all, while broken streams produce a full channel list where playback fails.

Frequently asked questions
M3U8 is the same format saved as UTF-8, which lets it carry non-Latin channel names correctly. Players treat them the same; if your channel names show as garbled characters, an M3U8 version usually fixes it.
A URL is preferred because the provider updates it — channels come and go, and a URL picks that up on refresh. A file is a snapshot of one moment.
