How to Set Up an IPTV Player on Roku

To watch IPTV on a Roku device you need two things: an IPTV player app installed on the Roku, and a playlist from a provider of your choice. IPlayerTV is the player — it does not include any channels. You install it on the Roku, pair it with your account using a 6-digit code, add your own playlist, and the channels from that playlist appear on your TV.

The whole setup takes about five minutes and starts with a 7-day free trial — no card required.

1

Add IPlayerTV to your Roku

On your Roku, open the streaming channel search and look for “IPlayerTV”. Add the channel to your device and open it.

If you can't find the app on your device or in your region, write to contact@iplayertv.com and we'll walk you through installing it.

2

Find your pairing code

When IPlayerTV starts on an unpaired device, it shows a 6-digit pairing code on screen. Leave the TV on this screen — the code is what links the device to your account.

3

Pair the device with your account

On your phone or computer, go to iplayertv.com/activation, sign in (or create a free account), and enter the 6-digit code from the TV.

Pairing starts your 7-day free trial for this device automatically. No payment details are needed for the trial. Each account can trial up to two devices.

4

Add your playlist

In the dashboard, add the playlist you received from your IPTV provider — either an Xtream Codes login (server address, username, password) or a direct M3U link.

The playlist is fetched and prepared for your device; large playlists can take a few minutes on the first sync. When it finishes, the channels, films, and series from your playlist appear in the app.

5

Start watching

Back on the Roku, the app refreshes automatically once your playlist is ready. Use the OK button during playback to open the controls, where you can also switch audio tracks on streams that carry more than one language.
