How to Set Up an IPTV Player on Android TV

Watching IPTV on Android TV takes an IPTV player app plus a playlist from a provider of your choice. IPlayerTV is the player: install it on your Android TV or Google TV device, pair it with your account using the 6-digit code it shows, add your playlist, and your channels appear. The same app also runs on Android phones and tablets.

Setup takes about five minutes, and every new device starts with a 7-day free trial — no card required.

1

Install IPlayerTV on your device

Search for “IPlayerTV” in the app store on your Android TV, Google TV, phone, or tablet and install it.

If the app isn't available on your device or in your region yet, contact contact@iplayertv.com and we'll help you install it.

2

Open the app and note the pairing code

On first launch the app shows a 6-digit pairing code. This code links the device to your IPlayerTV account.

3

Pair it at iplayertv.com/activation

Go to iplayertv.com/activation on any browser, sign in or create a free account, and enter the code. The device pairs immediately and its 7-day free trial starts — no payment details needed.

4

Add your playlist

In the dashboard, add your provider playlist: an Xtream Codes login (server, username, password) or a direct M3U link. First-time syncing of a large playlist can take a few minutes.

5

Watch on TV, phone, or tablet

Once the playlist is ready, live channels, films, and series from your playlist show up in the app. On phones and tablets the same account and playlist work — each physical device pairs and is licensed separately.

Frequently asked questions

No. IPlayerTV ships empty by design — it is a player for the playlist you supply, and we do not provide or promote any content sources.

Access is per device. Each device pairs with its own code and has its own trial or subscription. You can own any number of device slots on one account.

Current Android TV and Google TV devices, and recent Android phones and tablets. If the app misbehaves on your device, contact support with the device model.

When some items play and others do not, the difference is almost always in the streams themselves — the source of that content at your provider — rather than in the player. Contact your playlist provider.
